Map Skills Reflection
For basic map skills I felt that the reading the compass was the easiest because all I do is remember, never eat soggy waffles and go clockwise to remember north south east and west. I think I struggled most with the coordinates because I had trouble judging about were the coordinate was. Map skills are necessary because If you don't get the map you won't be able to do geography but if you do get map skills in geography you will be able to describe and say coordinates, continents, map keys, and direction.
ReplyDeleteThis made me think of how important cardinal directions are to our everyday world, and I agree that it is important to know them. “Never Eat Soggy waffles” is a great way to remember North, East, South, West and you did a great job on remembering that.
